The All New Toy Story Land

Entrance to Toy Story Land

Are you a Toy Story fan? Visit the all-new Toy Story Land at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

Toy Story Land opened in the summer of 2018 with two brand new attractions: Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers, as well as one food area: Woody’s Lunch Box. The original Toy Story Mania attraction remains the same inside but has received a new entrance and design outside. This new land can be found in Hollywood Studios Park. Wander past the “One Man’s Dream” exhibit to the entrance of Toy Story Land.

Having visited in November 2018, only months after its opening, Toy Story Land sees heavy crowds.

We were unable to get Fast Passes for Slinky Dog Dash. As soon as the park opened we queued up for Slinky Dog Dash. Slinky Dog Dash is a family coaster with ride requirements. All riders must be at least 38 inches tall and all guests must be able to transfer into the ride vehicle. We waited about 2 hours to enjoy this attraction. However, we were there during U.S. Thanksgiving weekend and crowds, in general, were heavy.

Alien Swirling Saucer is a spinning attraction located at the far end of Toy Story Land. Guests must be at least 32 inches tall and all guests must be able to transfer into the ride vehicle. Though we did not take part in this attraction it was a fun family ride and kids and adults alike appeared to be having a great time. This attraction has 2 ride areas, each being the same ride, in order to cut down on ride wait times.

Though Toy Story Mania was a popular attraction before the opening of Toy Story Land, the queue line has been moved allowing guests to enter while inside Toy Story Land and a 3rd track has been added to the attraction in order to cut down on ride wait times. This interactive attraction has guests shooting targets to score points. There is no height restriction for this attraction. Guests with mobility issues should notify a cast member. Guest in scooters, wheelchairs or powerchairs will board their ride vehicle is a separate area. Guests in scooters or powerchairs will have to transfer to a standard wheelchair or a ride vehicle seat in order to ride.  This attraction offers audio description and video captioning. Please see a cast member if you require these accommodations.

Woody’s Lunch Box is a quick service location and the only food service station currently in Toy Story Land. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Woody’s Lunch Box offers a variety of fun foods with Toy Story themed names. Kids meals, specialty drinks and adult drinks are all offered at this location. If you have a food allergy, please consult a cast member and they will do their best to recommend something and accommodate your needs. For convenience, this location is enabled with the online ordering through the Disney Parks App.

For guests staying on property, Extra Magic Hours are offered in Toy Story Land. Extra Magic Hours are scheduled for each of the 4 Disney Parks on a rotating basis for either morning hours before the park opens or evening hours after the park closes. Guests staying on property can take advantage of shorter wait times and longer hours in the parks by staying on property and participating in Extra Magic Hours.
